TOPIC GOD OF PURPOSE
TEXT: EXODUS 14 :13

INTRODUCTION
Purpose can be defined as the reason for which something is done.
Someone may be asking, "who is this GOD?" WELL, I'm not here to tell you what you have been  hearing before about God, but I'm here to let you understand who God really is in another dimension.
God as we all know remains the one who made the Haven, the Earth and mankind according to the Book of Genesis chapter 1 and John gospel chapter 1, and according to the scripture, God  revealed himself in So Many Ways and manifested himself also in So Many Ways. In Exodus 3:14, when Moses requested to know who he would tell Pharoah that sent me, God said,  "tell him that, "I am who I am" had sent you". In the same Exodus 3. God appeared to Moses Like fire ?, Moses saw the burning but its grasses were not consumed. He is the God who provided a sacrificial lamb to Abraham in Genesis 22.
In numbers 23:18 the Bible said,
“God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent;
Has He said, and will He not do it?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

In Isaiah 55:9 the scripture said,
"As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."  God is not a man and does not act like man, He does not reason like man.

THE MESSAGE
Therefore, from where we had our text,
Exodus 14:13
What we read in this chapter and verse is a statement of Moses who understood God's plan  of deliverance through whom God delivered his children "Israel" from the land of Egypt (slavery).
In this verse, Moses comforted the Israelites, whom under pressure and circumstances had forgotten who God is, how he revealed himself and manisted himself to them.
Israel cried out loud when they saw the vast armies of Egyptians marching after them and before them were the Red Sea, but failed to understand that God is a " GOD OF PURPOSE", they thought that all hope had been lost, but they never knew that. "it's not over until it's over"

Exodus 14:11-12
"And they said to Moses, Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you treated us this way and brought us out of Egypt?
Did we not tell you in Egypt, Let us alone; let us serve the Egyptians? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.

Isreal cried a cry of one who does not know God's mind, they cried a cry of those who are hopeless, they cried a cry of a widow who thinks that all hope had been lost, in fact, Isreal cried a cry of those who think that the battle is over, but they never knew that,  "it's not yet over until it's over".

Whatever that happened under the planet  of this earth has a purpose, our suffering is for a purpose, that we had no child now, is for a purpose. That things are hard now, is for a purpose. That we have been sick for a very long time time, is for a purpose. God ordained trials in our lives so that we will trust him and honors him when he delivered us. God ordained trials for our altimate good.

Exodus 14:4
God purposefully allowed Pharoah and the Egyptian armies to pursue after the Israelite, For God said, "I  will harden Pharaoh's heart that he will not let them go, so that, He ( God) would gain honor and glory to himself".

CONCLUSION
Dear brothers and sisters, whatever you are passing through today is for a purpose, God never intended to harm you nor destroy you rather, God wants the best for you. God allowed those enemies, he allowed bad conditions to work gaist you in oder to give you victory and return honor and glory to himself.
In Exodus 14:13-28, Moses comforted the Israelites, assured them that the Egyptians they see today they will see no more, because the battle is theirs, God will fight for you so that you will realize that He is the Lord.
God through His mighty power divided the red sea, the Israeltes passed through the sea while the Egyptians drained in the sea and victory was given to his children.

APPLICATION
Therefore child of do not fear in your bad condition, for it's for a purpose, God knows about it and will give you victory the same way He victory to Isreal. It's not yet over until it's over.

Be content with what you have, for God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.

The world suffers a lot, not because of the violence of bad people, but because of the silence of good people.
